The First Chinese Presbyterian Community Affairs Home Attendant Corporation (First Chinese or FCP CAHAC) is an affiliate of the First Chinese Presbyterian Church, (FCPC) of New York City.
The Home Attendant program of FCPC was established in 1979 with the goal of providing home attendant services to elderly and disabled Medicaid recipients (“clients”) residing in Manhattan Community Districts 1 to 8.
Our NYS DOH operating license was awarded on June 28, 1999.
Over the years, the program grew and our service also expanded to Manhattan Community Districts 1-12 and all the five boroughs of New York (Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and the Bronx).

Board Mission and Message
FCP's humble beginning has remained a guiding force for all our undertakings. In our commitment to serve the needs of a vulnerable population, we aim to fulfill the following mission:
To deter the institutionalization of children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, (who have some functional limitations, but are otherwise capable of living independently in their own homes), through the provision of accessible and quality homecare services by skilled homecare workers.
To provide quality home care services without regard to race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, economic resources, developmental disabilities, or other medical conditions.
To improve the quality of life of its clients through the services and support of caring, responsive, and culturally competent staff.
THROUGH OUR BOARD'S LEADERSHIP FCP MISSIONS ARE TRANSLATED TO HOW WE SERVE THE NYC COMMUNITY
